When asking where my beloved family wanted to go this year in June hols they gave me this helpful guidance:

FromDH
“not bothered luv ! somewhere abroad with nice weather…I’m not going to anywhere rammed with people mind”
From DD(15)
Dunno mum , wherever! Im not wearing a swimming costume! I can’t do heat, nowhere windy or freezing tho that would be grim’

so helpful as chocolate teapot 😂

so I thought I’d ask everyone here where would you go? Given the brief above and below:
Duration: 1 week holiday
Location: hot but not super hot or rammed with people
Date: June this year
Budget: 2.5 k max with 1k max spending when there.
Board: ideally half board but b&b doable so long as there are reasonable and nice food places nearby ( no cooking for me please lol)
People: 2 adults and 1 (15 year old apparently sun averse goth/punky teenager who thinks everything is as hassle😂).
Airport: any northern one, including Manchester

ideas of what is doable on postcard please 😁

This places in France ticks all your boxes apart from the board. It’s self catering but does have a decent restaurant and take away onsite, plus plenty more restaurants within walking distance. https://www.brasilia.fr/en/

Camping Canet en Roussillon | Le Brasilia | 5 star Pyrénées Orientales

Our campsite in Canet en Roussillon, Le Brasilia, opens the doors of its beachfront domain, with a water park, spa and top-of-the-range equipment.

Not really considered camping sites, visions of nightmare camping trips as child come to mind😂 However this looks somewhat different lol. Although not sure on getting there as we are used to the whole get pre arranged transfer to resort. How easy will this be? I’ve only ever done package holidays so aside from the choosing and booking a location everything else is sorted.. as silly as it sounds organising things separate 😳

Maybe Austria or Croatia or Amalfi Coast is lovely in Italy but hotter.

15 year olds are easy just need WiFi, sounds like you may as well choose were you want to go.

Menorca. We are going over half term. Looks cool at night, 25ish during the day.

Not sure about price but have a look at 9 muses Kefalonia. Low key vibe, lovely staff, 15 year old can sit in the shade in the beach bar. Can do half board but 10 min walk to lots of nice restaurants on Skala.
