Turkey where to go?

Thinking of booking a holiday to turkey around mid July. This will be our 1st time and it'll be me, DH, my mum (early 60s) and DC (7). Didn't just want to do a resort but mum will struggle if there's a lot of walking involved... so May be a resort with some day trips / excursions to some towns / Ruins etc.? Which area can we look at? Thank you!

Belek has some lovely hotels with very large grounds. I stayed at the Voyage a few years back, loads of different bars and restaurants, various pool and beach areas to move around. There's also a sister resort near Side I think and may be more accessible to the type of day trip you want, but sure you'd also be happy in Belek.
