Changed my mind about a holiday. Better to cancel or to go?

Last year we booked a 10 night summer holiday to Aruba. We were really excited and looking forward to it. But recently we did a very last minute 7 night getaway to Lanzarote for some Winter sun. We were bored sh*tless being sat on the beach all day. Now I'm wondering if I should just cancel the Aruba holiday and lose our deposit (150 quid). Aruba looks like there is basically nothing there other than the beach. The more we read into it and how American it is, the less we want to go.

If your hearts not in it then cancel but I have to ask, why didn’t you get up and go somewhere or do something in Lanzarote?

Ah I loved Aruba, but we only went for 7 nights. Its a safe island so you can travel freely. We mixed it up so either a morning on the beach then out in the afternoon, or a beach day and a trip day. Its was a few years ago when wernt though and it was quite americanised then so not sure what its like now. £150 isnt a lot to lose if you really don't want to go!

Do you like boat trips, snorkelling, horse riding, ATV trips?

You can do those, but if that isn't your bag then I would change it

Why didn't you do trips in Lanzarote? Volcano, submarine, water park, vineyard, day to Fuerteventura...
