App/ Site for Spain travel by train or bus

I need to look at my options for getting from a Spanish airport by train or bus to a friend's. No idea what the nearest station is so looking for something that shows me my 'door to door' options and with actual train /bus times.
Any suggestions please?

Rome2rio is a good starting point.

The renfe website is the national site for trains and coaches

I hope this isn't stating the obvious but have you tried the public transport tab on Google Maps? It used to be rubbish for public transport but I use it all the time on holiday now. You can use it 'live' or set it to a particular date/time to see your options. It can even tell you when your bus/train is delayed a lot of the time and will show the walk to/from your stop to your destination. If there are multiple bus/train options it will show several combinations so you can figure out your best option. This is probably a good initial port of call as it'll save you having to figure out the closest stations etc x

Renfe is also in English and will have everything you need.

Definitely not staying the obvious! Thanks for this, I've been having a go. I have managed to get this working for flights info but not for train/buses. But will persist!

Google maps is good, but it doesn't have all the info, I couldn't get it work in Menorca for example.

You could try the airport website, or ask your friend, they should know how people get to and from the airport where they live?

I've found Spanish airports usually well connected for public transport. Usually bus stops outside the terminal with a regular service to local cities and other population centres and holiday areas.

Plus trains, metros or trams in larger cities or the Spanish equivalent of National Express is https://www.alsa.es/aeropuertos
