Corfu in mid October?

Worth a sunshine holiday or is it cheaper in October because the weather is rubbish?

we went in october one year weather was pretty good one day of torrential rain. DD went last year half term they had fabulous weather whole week long

Weather is risky. It might be great but Corfu is very green and the rain increases from September. It's cheaper mid October because end of season.

check out the wasp situation then. we stayed in a fairly rural resort in september and they were a real nuisance....and normally i'm fairly layed back about such things. all the restaurants had swatters and burned coffee....which didnt seem to make any difference. husband hates wasps so we could only go to one restaurant....the lovely ones with flowers just attracted hoardes of them
