Scandinavia in August - advice please

Considering a trip to Scandinavia - not sure of the itinerary but would like to visit Copenhagen and Stockholm. We’re limited to having to go mid-August - is that a bad time to go weather and tourist-wise? Any tips welcome 😊

We found it roughly similar to UK weather wise. I think their schools go back earlier than ours which means less busy end August but also we had a few less things available.

A trip out to the archipelago from Stockholm is a lovely way to spend a day.

It’s a brilliant time to go - lots of festivals and more hours of daylight.
