Hi all, I have 2 DC age 10 and 12 and we’re trying to find a compromise between what they want (pools, all inclusive, evening movie nights) and what we want (explore pretty Greek towns, life outside a resort, nice beaches for swimming / paddleboarding).
any tried and tested recommendations thst would work for us all? Everything I look at online is making me feel like it’s less of a compromise and more of “what the kids want”!
help!

Check out www.marbella.gr. I’ve booked (Corfu) for this year. Pricey but sounds like it would fit the bill.

If you can afford it, I'd highly recommend Ikos resorts. They're prices but quality is fantastic.

They offer dine our locally services so you can see the islands/areas. They also offer a days hire of a Tesla to explore the island.

Lots of non-montorised water sports included, kids club and activities.

Send them to a residential holiday camp and go wherever you like!

We have booked Creta Maris in Crete but not been before. We also wanted the chance to leave the resort and wander round and stop for a drink in a harbour or beach etc. Hoping it will be good for this.

Place marking as we're similar

Crete is beautiful, historic and also minimal travel as a smallish island. Have been several times, never disappoints. Gouves and Agia galina are favourites 😍

Have you been now? If so how did you find it! We are looking for 2024

We ended up booking a villa in Kefalonia because the choice of resorts was baffling and costs were spiralling! While we had a nice time, we did miss the entertainment factor for the kids! I’ll refer back to all these suggestions if I look to go again in the future.
