Thinking of Center parcs EU - where would you go?

Thinking of going late Sept / Early Oct, will have a 2 year old and a new (passport dependent so won’t book until arrived and safe and had 8 week jab)

Where would you go? Happy with U.K. to be honest but feel like going abroad might feel more of a holiday or hopefully slightly better weather?

https://www.centerparcs.eu/in-en/france/fp_TF_holiday-park-les-trois-forets?facet%5BPARTICIPANTSCP%5D%5Badult%5D=2 This one was newly built around 5 or so years ago and really good for little ones. It’s a bit of a drive though - you’d probably want to break the journey up.

For a shorter journey I’d pick one of the ones near Paris or in the Netherlands.

However, for complete ease with such little ones I’d probably just stick with the U.K. and a shorter journey. Aren’t you supposed to stop with newborns every 30 minutes or something? We had lovely U.K. CP breaks when our dc were the ages yours will be.

Thank you, will take a look.

luckily we have a lie flat car seat so don’t have the 30 min restrictions but will take regular breaks.

with an 8 week old baby (did I read that right?) I’d stay in Uk. And go in sep while weather is ok.

Thanks @PotKettel any you recommend in the U.K? Yeah could be 10 - 12 weeks depending on when they arrive.

Where are you based in the UK, OP? If you don't mind a fair drive from Eurotunnel I'll through De Efteling (Netherlands) into the mix BUT possibly suggest that you wait a bit until the toddler is a little older. The lodges are lovely (and I guess you won't be out and about much with a 2 month baby)

If you are anywhere near Wales have a look at Bluestone near Tenby. If you are careful about what dates you pick it shouldn't be too expensive outside school holidays:

Away resorts on Isle of Wight are brilliant. You don't need loads of activities. The bay at Colwell is nice which have lodges and a small swimming pool plus a nearby beach. I've been to an away resort in Hayle Cornwall but that's more of a static place. Bigger pool and beach is amazing. St ives Bay holiday park I think its called. Its right on the beach but you have to climb up and over the dunes to get to the beach.

Sandy balls in the new forest.

Bluestone Wales.

I am going to hof van saksen in the Netherlands but you would be better doing that when dc older. Tonnes of activities. That's a landal green park.

Other landal park in the UK. Less activities but bit more upmarket.
