Hot in November or January

looking to book a weeks all inclusive chill by beach holiday in November or January. Ideally somewhere in Europe or max 5 hrs flight. We have a budget of £1700 for 2. Just really want a package holiday to laze about.

anywhere warm or recommendations. Most holiday destinations are not beach warm then that are not long haul.

I think lie on the beach hols at that time of year in Europe are hard to find, the Canaries are probably your best bet for winter sun in Europe but we went to Lazarote at the end of Oct and even then it wasn't lie on the beach for a week weather. I think you need to look more to the Middle East or Egypt at that time of year.

Easier to find hot in November than January without going long haul. We used to live in southern Spain and the weather was almost always significantly better in Nov/Dec than Jan/Feb but its never guaranteed.
Previous poster said Lanzarote weather wasn't great for them at the end of October, whilst we were there at the beginning of December and swam in the villas heated pool every day. We did have a bit of rain and a couple of cloudy days though but not enough to make us not come back this December.
DS went to Egypt at Feb half term the weather was nice but not beach warm. He was on a cultural trip so it was fine.
Middle East weather safer but might break the budget.

I had the last week of January in Agadir and it was about 16 degrees. Still had to wear a jacket. I was also in Dubai for the first 2 weeks of January and it was rainy, stormy and about 20 degrees.

Nowhere in Europe is reliably hot in November or January OP. You can get lucky in southern Spain, the Canaries, Madeira, but it's not guaranteed to be lie on the beach warm. If you want a sure thing you probably want Egypt, UAE, maybe Cape Verde?

I’ve done the last two Novembers in Lanzarote and we had great weather in 2021 in playa Blanca, 2022 in los Pocillos was a bit cooler but I think that was due to it being a windier area. Still managed to sunbathe most days and the sea was warm enough to swim in.

I’ve also been to Egypt and Dubai in the first week of January, had good weather in both especially Dubai. Obviously not Europe but not long haul.

Also just to add, I used to live in southern Spain and spent many a day at the beach in November and December but it’s definitely not guaranteed. January would be no chance for a beach holiday in my opinion.
