We are going ro Kosice for the coronation weekend, anybody been?
I would appreciate any tips on where to visit, good restaurants etc

Just bumping for you @Sundaychiller - we caught the train to Bratislava from Vienna earlier this year for a brief day trip and definitely would like to go back for a long weekend. Much quieter than Prague/ Krakow type destinations, seemed good value, very pretty and a lovely, friendly atmosphere.

Let us know how you get on in Kosice - how are you getting there?

Following with interest, thinking of Bratislava this year for the Christmas markets

Also interested in Kosice as Ryanair fly there from Dublin too!

I am interested in Bratislava too as I am thinking of a trip there in September. Vienna looks close enough for a day trip which makes it appealing.

We found 1 day enough to see the nice bits of Bratislava. The old part of the city is lovely but compact. The rest is a bit like Luton.
