Help with Expedia?

I booked a flight to New York with Expedia a few months ago. I selected to pay £100 each extra to be able to reserve seats. This has been fine for the one leg of the journey with American Airlines. When I went to do this for the three British Airways flights, it’s the usual charges of £32+ each. I ‘spoke’ to someone on Expedia’s chat function and they said they didn’t know anything about it and to contact American Airlines. They said to contact British Airways and they said to contact Expedia! And I can’t find a number to call Expedia on so I’m stuck.

The problem is there is nothing on our booking that says we paid this extra amount.

Can anyone help? Does Expedia have a number you can call? I’ve searched but can’t find one.

You’ll be in it for the long haul!!!! Your call will be answered reasonably quickly initially but then they will put you on hold. Where you will remain for about 15 mins whilst the agent “ into your booking”. They will then speak to you to let you know they are still there just working on things. This will continue for 45 mins to an hour before they cut you off and you have to try again. Repeat the process 19 times.

That was my experience with them and it was only when I threatened legal action that they actually did anything.

Honestly, the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Yes! I was in the phone with them for an hour and 40 trying to sort out my flight, what on Earth they're actually doing I don't know, they must only be able to do about 4 calls in a working day!
