Any recommendations? This is for my DD and her boyfriend for five nights. They are not super rich, probable a hotel not self catering. Budget def £00s not £000s! I am bored so spending time interfering 😂

Prices will drop dramatically once the school holidays are over; aim for second week in September if not later. Assuming they want beaches, they really need a car. Do a search as some of us posted some suggestions. You might find them a cheap holiday rental.

11th September is back to school in Italy. Here in Puglia it might be a couple of days earlier or later depending on regional holidays and timetable adjustments. We are usually one of the latest to go back. So I'd aim for third week onwards. It'll still be hot.

Look at the Salento. Porto Cesareo, Otranto, Cale d'Otranto is a big resort hotel that lots of my students go to. Not cheap in season but might have fallen by September.

Thanks @So1invictus and@Oriunda , sadly the date is fixed. I will
pass on this info. I am jealous; it’s on my list of places to visit
