Tenerife - Costa Adeje

Just looking for recommendations on things to do in Tenerife. We're staying at the Iberostar Bouganville Playa in Costa Adeje for 2 weeks in July/August.
Any tips and ideas will be greatly appreciated. It's our first time going to the Canary Islands so hoping it's going to be mostly warm and sunny and we'll have a great holiday as it's our first holiday abroad since 2019.

Its a great place to stay. Siam Park is a great water park if you like that sort of thing- you can usually get tickets with bus included from your hotel.
If you have the stamina, turn right at the beach walkway. That will take you to the Del Duque beach which is my favourite and if you keep on walking for another 30 minutes, to La Caleta which has some nice traditional fish restaurants.

Thank you @rookiemere
Oh yes Siam Park looks amazing!
Del Duque beach will go on my list, we're looking forward to visiting a few of the local beaches. M DH will be delighted with the fish restaurants so we'll definitely take a trip to La Caleta.

Costa Adele is our ‘go too’ area in Tenerife, some thing for everyone.

Nice! Have a great time! Good choice of resort and hotel.

If you enjoy hiking or want to see the non-resort parts of the island it would be worth organising excursions to Mt Teide and to Masca. The former is breathtaking, the latter is gorgeous.

@Chatterboxy that's really good to hear, we're really looking forward to exploring the area.

@KohlaParasaurus Mt Teide is on our list, we've looked at the cable car, buggy tours and the star gazing. They all look amazing. I'll give Masca a Google, thank you for your recommendations and good to hear you think we've made a good choice.

Oh Masca is lovely and there is a really nice restaurant up there - I will dig out its name. Hair rising drive though- DH loves doing it as he is quite intrepid, but if you're not then go in a tour.

Oh and if you do want to hire a car for a few days Autoreisen are fantastic.

This is the restaurant at La Masca www.elguanchealteschule.es/es/

Brilliant, I think my DH would do the driving and thank you for the car hire recommendations. Restaurant looks lovely and we'll definitely be visiting Masca it looks beautiful.
