How do you minimise baby stuff / luggage when going on a long weekend?

We are taking our 4 month old from London to Edinburgh for 4 nights by train. I am just starting to realise the enormous amount of baggage that is necessary. She is bottle fed so what do you do about steralisation of equipment in a hotel room? Taking the steraliser seems like one large item too many. Any other tips for travel minimising baggage etc?

Take some Milton liquid in a small bottle, then ask hotel for receptacle to dunk bottles in.

Buy mini cartons when you are there.

Check hotel has travel cot with sheets etc so you don't have to bring anything.

Use sling not buggy.

Look on Boots Website for nearest one to hotel. Only pack enough nappies and formula for journey and then pop in to buy supplies when there.
A large placcy bag and some milton tablets will do the sterilisation.
Just dress baby in vest, babygro and snow suit when there, and don't bother about clean pjs - just use same for night.
Sling much easier than buggy in hilly area.

You can also get steriliser bags - reusable a few times, I think.

There is a Boots right near Waverley Station.
