One week- somewhere romantic & sunny

We have one week off to take sometime between May and September. Have loads and loads of avios to use, so it could be long haul.

Just want a week of good food, beaches, culture, and time with my partner

Where to go?

Based on the Avios points, South Africa could work.
My cousin went recently and said it was amazing, and BA has flights there and isn't too bad Avios points wise.

If you've only got a week then maybe stay European. June is such a lovely month to travel to the Med. not too hot and less crowds. BA. fly to several Greek Islands and there's some wonderful boutique hotels and resorts. Kefalonia, Skiathos, Mykonos are all gorgeous

They also fly to Sicily which has a fabulous mix of culture and beaches.
