Looking for some advice for a great holiday for myself, DH and DS who will be just 3. We have had a difficult time recently and have only just managed to start looking for this summer, so lots of places are gone. I'm feeling completely stuck! Can anyone recommend anywhere please?

General criteria:
Ideally Balearic Islands
Villa or would consider hotel with space to play
Fairly "naice" and relaxing eg not Butlins type vibe... 🙈

Im also second guessing myself the whole time as I don't know what stage our son will be at by then, iyswim. The last hot holiday we had was when he was crawling which was an entirely different ball game.

Anyway, ideally we would have loved a villa with some lawn or grass to run around in / have picnics and play, but most seem to have gone. We would need a gated pool too I guess?

Happy to consider a hotel suite if the upside is it's next to a lovely beach and has grounds. Nothing too full on in terms of loud entertainment, cringe music or horrible buffets etc. ideally cooking facilities and access to nice local restaurants. No idea whether he will still be napping by August but ideally a garden or balcony where we can chill while he's asleep.

Budget max £7000 for 14 days, ideally less if we need a hire car.

If a villa is your preference try searching on Spanish language websites as well. There were plenty when I looked a few weeks ago for early September

Never know what sites to check beyond James Villas, Oliver's Travels and Jet2Villas. Don't want to risk things by going with a disreputable company.

I’m not sure a recommendation on here from a stranger would be enough to convince me a company was reputable. £7k is a huge budget, I think you need advice from a specialist travel agent. Menorca is quieter than the other islands, I wasn’t wowed by the food unless you’re staying close to Mahon or Ciutadella. Ibiza in the family friendly areas doesn’t excite me much, Majorca is my favourite of the large islands. I would start with what’s available and then read up on whether location etc are suitable as it’s late in the day.
