Family Friendly restaurant near science museum

Going to the Science Musueum tomorrow and its DH's birthday also so was thinking of going somewhere nice to eat but where kids will be welcome.

There are some nice places to eat in the Science Museum. We ate at a restaurant on the ground floor, I can't remember what it's called but it was lit up with blue lights. We went about a moth ago.
If you're talking about somewhere to go in the evening after the museum's closed, sorry, I can't help.

Pizza Express on the King's Road? It's a nice one...

Lyra - you are talking about Deep Blue Cafe, and yes it is nice, will serve chicken, chips, pizza, but nicely!

Be warned it is half term and it will be very busy there, so if you want to eat at the museum there will be large queues for all food places. You can take picnics and there are loads of places to eat them.

There are plently of nice pizza, pasta places near there to eat in, all child friendly as it is very touristy.

I have never been to giraffe, but have only heard good things, so would be worth a try!

If you're going for lunch, try to eat early. We went at about 12.30 and waited about 10 minutes for a table. By halfway through our meal the queue had more than quadrupled.

Carluccios near Sth Kensington tube. Blue cafe also good but only open for lunch and packed at weekends/school hols so go for an early lunch.
