European campsites

Looking for some advice please! We have a big family holiday planned in July, but looking for a short break perhaps in September as well. I’m considering a eurocamp/ canvas holiday - I think they look like they’d be an easy break for us to enjoy with our three year old. We’ve never done this type of holiday before and I’m finding it slightly overwhelming to choose a site. Any recommendations on campsites for young children? We’d prefer somewhere not too busy or noisy, but still with decent amenities. It would be great if there was a nice town/city to explore nearby as well. Thanks in advance!

Carnac?

Brittany or the Vendee. In France look at the Castels sites and also the Yelloh sites. You need to look at pitch size - the bigger the better. Italy and Spain tend to have smaller pitch sizes.

Booking directly with the campsite for one of their mobiles can be cheaper.

Depends how far south you want to go. Brittany is nice, but Le Paradis in the dordogne is lovely

We have been to Sanguli in Salou a few times . Good amenities, close enough to visit Barcelona and Port Aventura theme park .
