A show in NYC that doesn’t cost the earth?

DD (16) wants to go to the theatre when we’re in NYC, but we can’t afford the £100+ each that a Broadway show costs.

Any suggestions of off-Broadway shows suitable for teenagers that won’t break the bank?

When are you going? At the moment there is loads on broadway for less than $100.
I find todaytix the cheapest. If not, would you consider doing the roulette for a show?

Broadway Roulette is $49 if you don’t mind what you see

We’re going early July. Didn’t know about the roulette but don’t think it would work not knowing what we’d get as there are shows that wouldn’t be suitable for DD2.

Just seen that you can select family shows with the roulette. Sounds great—thanks for pointing it out.

Little Shop of Horrors

Todaytix app is brilliant, +1 to a previous poster. We saw Cats and had brilliant seats for much less than half price. You just have to be flexible about what you are happy to see then you'll get a bargain. You can also enter the Hamilton low price ticket lottery too from todaytix app.
Todaytix is also great for west end shows too!
