All inclusive family holiday this summer

Hello,
Had enough of the shopping, cooking and clearing up after the kids on holiday, so looking into a week at an all inclusive so we can all unwind...
anyone got any recommendations for somewhere hot (open to med, canaries, cape verdes and anywhere with a similar travel time) on / near a beach ... that ideally won't break the bank (tricky yes I know)..!
Afraid it's going to have to be in July / August as well...
Thanks in advance.

We got a week in Malta in august for 2 adults 2 kids all inclusive for £2500, I didn’t think that was too bad!!

CreationNat1on · 04/04/2023 17:02

What hotel? Please?!

BingleBongleBoo · 04/04/2023 17:03

We love the RIU Chiclana in Spain it's perfect x

Db seabank resort. I’ve never been before so can’t comment on what it’s like but the pics look good and it’s fairly priced so I hope it lives up to expectations!!

Not enough info! How old are the kids, how many of you, what's important to you!

dts911 · 04/04/2023 20:58
  • Kids are 10, 8, 6 and 4.
  • The half / full board more important than packing kids off to kids clubs every day.
  • Preferably something not devoid of any culture or history.
  • family friendly given children's ages.
Thx

we went to DB Seabank in 2021 and had a lovely time! Don’t bother with the ‘hop on hop off’ bus, the local buses are far better, cheaper and super easy to use. We did a boat trip from down the road, amazing day. And the hotel facilities were great. Our first AI holiday after years of campsites and we’re converts. This year off to Kos to stay AI at Mitsis Ramira, hoping we enjoy as much as Seabank.

Rantypanties · 04/04/2023 21:09

Oooh @PixieL thank you for the recommendations! Boat trip is my kinda thing!!

I'm off to Mitsis Norida next month, never been to Kos and so looking forward to it.

We're off to DB seabank next week - hoping we enjoy it as much as you did @PixieL

Ok op, my suggestion is Albir Garden resort in Spain. Here's why:

  • Alicante airport, short flight and so many flights in and out keeps it super cheap even off season compared to say Balearics, canaries, Greek islands etc
  • Albir is lovely and not far from the hotel - lots of history and culture, interesting sites - don't take my word for it, google it.
  • for the relaxing experience you crave, a huge pool plus a decent sized water park will keep your kids at their ages well entertained all day
  • All inclusive option, but not overrun by brits like many AI resorts in and around Benidorm - there are a lot of European guests

Only downside I recall - cava not included in AI - I mean come on, it's Spain ffs!

Brilliant thank you. I have been to Malta years ago and always wanted to go back so this might work for us :)

We're going to Malta too. DB San Antonio with Jet2. Really excited to go. Things to do as well as pool etc. buses round the island seem super cheap compared to home.

hellswelshy · 09/04/2023 10:36

Following as I'm hoping to find something like this too, with the added element of two teenage girls to entertain! Prices seem to be steep at the moment. Ideally would like a 2 bedroom set up in a resort or hotel with the perks of all inclusive. The search continues!

Singapore4 · 09/04/2023 11:35

Globales Bougnavilla Hotel in Sa coma. It's clean and has a good waterpark for kids.

It came in a cheap price for me 3 years ago.

sunseeker19 · 10/04/2023 11:40

Lots of great options in the Algarve that would suit your wishlist OP - we especially liked the Clube Humbria just up the road from the gorgeous Olhos D'Agua beach, and the food was some of the best we've had at an all inclusive

Nana Beach in Crete, been upgraded since we visited and is now called Nana Golden Beach.

Seatbeltconundrum · 07/02/2024 10:27

@hellswelshy HD Parque hotels in Gran Canaria and Tenerife have 2 bed bungalows in an AI. Both islands have lots to do for teenagers!
