One night away with DP- which of these cities/towns would you recommend??

We are planning just one night away (to save my sanity mainly)

Staying in either Du Vin or Malmaison hotel in those towns.

Any + points of either of those cities/towns?

I'd vote for Oxford or York - both lovely. Have you been to any of them before?

Oxford or York would also be my vote.... although the Du Vin in Henley is gorgeous

No- I had my eye on the Malmaison in Oxford or the Du Vin in York.

Yes, it's very nice. A couple of decent museums and of course the lovely Bodleian Library.

oxford lovely. one of the hotels is the prison have eaten there, was v nice.

The MAlmaison in Oxford was a prison. Thats the one I want to stay at
