Palma or Malaga mini break late Oct

Going for a couple of nights to one of these in late October - doesn't need to be hot but which of Palma and malaga is likely to have better weather? If you've been to both which did you prefer? Just looking to mooch around, eat, drink and read! Tia

The Costa del Sol - so Malaga - is usually reliably hotter by several degrees, but either should be very pleasant.
Both great cities for a short break. If you only have a couple of days, Palma is probably more accessible. The cathedral La Seu, the royal palace and walking along the waterfront listening to the Spanish guitarists is very pleasant. The HoHo bus is good but the numbers don't correspond in any way to the bus stops - beware! Confused
Malaga is much bigger with loads to do. The new port area has nice shops and restaurants and you can climb up the hillside botanic garden behind. Lots of pretty architecture and - same as Palma - good shops. You can't really go wrong.

Both lovely- Malaga usually warmer if slightly out of season

Malaga. Such a lovely city.

We were in Palma at the end of October last year - 30 degrees every day!

Two good options IMO. As pp have said, Malaga is likely to be more reliably warm but chances are that Palma will still have good weather too. I love Palma but Malaga is one of my absolute favourite places (I lived there as a student).

Ooh thanks a lot for all the input. Both sound great. Might be swayed towards malaga for flight availability!

Two of my favourite places. Hard to chose! Both great for a short break. Have fun!

@BitOutOfPractice I agree- 2 of my absolute certs for a lovely short break.

Both cities are easily accessible from the airports too. Malaga by train, Palma bus. Saves a bomb on taxi fares.

I’ve been to both in late October and both were lovely weather.
I think I actually enjoyed Malaga more I didn’t realise how much there was to do there it’s usually been somewhere I passed through on the way to one of the beach resorts.

I’d go with Malaga, fab city so much to do and see.
