I want a REALLY cheap holiday before baby #2 arrives - and has anyone used Thomson Auctions?

And I mean really cheap cos we're totally skinted and new baby arrives in August so we really want a quick burst of sunshine with DS1 whilst it's just the 3 of us.

I'm debating using Thomson Auctions but not sure how that works when you also have an 18 month old child to take. I've been looking at cheap flights on jet2 etc but once you've done that and got accomodation it's not that cheap.

Don't normally do packages but just want an easy life and a pool to mess about in with DS!

Any tips?

I've just booked a really cheap few days away. I booked the flight separately and going from my local airport and booked the hotel through medhotels.com. There are loads of sites but also recommend lastminute.com. Decide where you'd like to go and take it from there. Believe me, there are amazing deals out there if you can be flexible it all depends on what you wnat/expect

Cheers DelGirl, not heard of medhotels, will check it out.

I'm not sure about Thomson auctions, it all looks good but when you consider that you have to add a £30 booking charge per person it adds up to pretty much what you'd pay anyway...
