Flying - cabin luggage - 'liquid' medicine

I may need to travel to another country for several days, flying with cabin luggage only. What do I do about my Oestrogel? The bottle is less than 100ml, but it is tall and opaque.

You can take it in hand luggage.

Take it in hand luggage. The plastic bag your liquids go in has to be transparent but the bottles do not.

If it's less than 100ml it should be fine. Take the packaging with the prescription label with you just in case.

It’s fine. Take a copy of your prescription to be sure .
I never put mine in a bag just show it to them and they take and check separately usually - this is because there is a void in the base as part of the pump mechanism.

Phew, thanks. It's donkey's years since I last flew with only cabin luggage - certainly not since I've been on HRT.
