Ibiza Alone

Have got a few days over Easter where I can escape alone, with my kindle & walking-sandals... Am thinking of a bit of warmth/'nice' town with good cafes/a market. Have been to Ibiza before but don't know it very well (and cannot remember the areas I've stayed in with friends/DH) I'm late 50's if that's relevant - so from what I can remember, not Playa d'en Bossa or San Antonio... Would welcome any suggestions - loved the hippie market, Ibiza Old Town but not sure where to put myself

I would stay in or near the old town as there's loads to do and it feels safe to wander around. We stayed in Figueretes which is walking distance from Ibiza town and a short drive from the airport.

You want central Ibiza town or the port area/Talamanca, NOT Bossa whatever you do! Santa Gertrudis in the middle of the island is also fab. The hippy market is in Benirras in the NW.

Thanks for that - yes I have vague memories of a girls trip where we accidentally booked an apt in Bossa - we were offered all sorts, but just wanted teabagsGrin
