Have found a good deal for a gotel and days passes to thorpe park, but we were actually looking to go to legoland.

It's fine for those ages. They will probably prefer it over Legoland, tbh.

I agree that at 8 and 11 Thorpe Park sounds like a better plan than Legoland.

Thorpe Park is great and even my 4 year old loves it. How tall are they? The really big rides all have a 140cm height restriction - their website has details of all the height restrictions. There are plenty of other rides, although several of them are wet rides, so may not be appealing on a cold day.

My four love Thorpe Park, they didn't like legoland. I love the big rides and dh doesn't so we split up, I take the big 2, he takes the litlle 2 and it's ace!

Take dry clothes - if you have a good day. you'll get wet!

What about Chessington? I think they would prefer that more. We have annual passes and have gone to Chessington lots but only tried Thorpe Park once and wouldn't bother going again. Granted, it was kind of cold when we were there which didn't help with all the rides that you can potentially get wet on but it seemed to be mainly populated with groups of teenagers and there were an awful lot of kiosks and extra shooting etc games inside the park which you could pay extra money for. It also looked kind of tired last year and in need of a refurb.

Thanks everyone, Legoland is ammust so what ever we do we will have to go there.

Perhaps I will have a day out at thorpe park up for grabs come april if I can;t be aresed doing both of them.
