Dublin Hotel recommendations on the outskirts

We're looking for a recommendations for hotels on the outskirts of Dublin, ideally the M4 side but also can be near the ferry port.

Ideally needs parking and transport links into Dublin City centre, that does family rooms. Standard wise, anything from a premier inn type as a minimum.... Thanks! 😊

It's been a few years but with my young dc I stayed at the Clayton Liffey Valley. Next to a major shopping mall (cinemas, restaurants), 25-30 mins on Dublin bus to centre, parking, pool, restaurant. Definitely family oriented in terms of service. Check current reviews of course but certainly cheaper than city centre. Family room was very comfortable & certainly bigger than average.
