Ryanair baggage question

Hello, it's been ages since I've flown Ryanair. I've paid to take a cabin suitcase and a small bag. Has anyone taken a Kanken backpack as their small bag? I've just measured and it's very slightly over their dimensions...

If it's soft and not too full so you can squish it into the baggage measuring thing if asked, then you should be ok.

I have - and have travelled with a Kipling laptop back-pack that is slightly bigger again, and it's been fine. They are more interested in the size of the wheelie bag than the small bag.
But that's just my experience - you can get someone that that measures everything at the gate on the day. So best if you don't fill it too much so it can squish down in their sizer thing.

my laptop backpack is also slightly bigger than the dimensions of their smallest bag but i don't have another one to use and it's always been fine. It got measured once and I just stuffed it down into the measuring box.

I haven't taken that specific bag but have used a standard sized backpack and I've never had to have it measured. As long as it easily goes under the seat it should be fine.
