Just wondering if anyone has had trouble renewing a passport when they have reverted to their maiden name without doing a deed poll? Basically I was married in 2009, divorced in 2015 and I reverted to my maiden name. I was able to get remarried from my maiden name in 2017 to my new married name but I'm having a nightmare renewing my passport. It was still in my previous married name because it had years and years left on it. They are not disputing my new married name but me using my maiden name after my divorce until I remarried. I'm having to get a statutory declaration done at £100 extra to list my previous names and why i no longer use them. Has anyone else been in this same situation?
