Heathrow during a strike

So I’ve just found out about the strikes at Heathrow starting on 31st March and lasting about 10 days. My DP mentioned that last time, the army were called in to help and things actually moved quicker!
But this hasn’t been announced yet. Any tips or stories of personal experiences of travelling through an airport during strikes?

It was the Border Force strike your DH is thinking of.

This next strike is to be security staff so there what he soldiers stepping in.

I've not long landed at Heathrow this morning (T3). Very short queues at Immigration and case was already going round the carousel when I got to it. Very impressed with service outbound too.

Luckily not flying out til 14th Aoril again, but for now LHR are doing a fantastic job.
