Any recommendations for a cycling holiday in England?

My bf and I are looking to go away for a week-end cycling in Englad but we're not too sure where? It has to be accessible from London by train (preferably Waterloo but not essential). Although in our early days we used to be keen cyclists we have become very sedentary so the cycling can't be that challenging. Any ideas?

Froim Waterloo, go down to Brockenhurst and around New Forest, hop down a few more stops to Wareham and do Swanage, Corfe Castle, Isle of Purbeck etc.

Another vote for the New Forest. We hired bikes at Brockenhurst too, there are loads of lovely routes and all quite flat, so not too challenging but lovely scenery and can stop off at pubs for lunches, etc.

go to norfolk.
its flat there.

amazing beaches too, i understand.

I hadn't thought about Suffolk or norfolk. Sounds pathetic but isn't it really windy and exposed? I just hate riding into the wind.

Romney Marsh. You can get there from Charing Cross / Waterloo East. It's flat as a pancake, so very easy cycling, lots of gorgeous churches to look at, and you can get to the very lovely beach at Camber Sands (and in fact all along the coast).
