Place to stay in Oxford for DH's 40th

Hello,

Oxford is proving a tricky place to find a place to stay - even crappy looking places are pricey.

I wondered if anyone has any recommendations?

Budget is around £200 per night (we're going for 2 nights). Don't mind if it's a hotel or air BnB etc.

We will have DC3 with us who will only be 4 months at the time.

Thanks!

Actually @mumsnet I've just realised this might be better on the UK Travel board? Thanks so much.

There’s a lot of serviced apartments in the area, which are cheaper than hotels and B&Bs. Would that be an option?

Yeah Oxford is tricky. The Eastgate hotel (it's probably called something else by now) on Merton street used to be nice. The nicer BnBs are around Jericho. The car situation makes it all quite hard though.
