Hi , we’re thinking about a weekend in Budapest this summer , I’ve been doing a bit of research & understand that Pest is the livelier area .
we have one 17 year old , any recommendations for a nice central hotel with air con please ?

We stayed at the Barcelo hotel. Location was fab, couldn’t recommend it enough.

we adored Budapest, so beautiful and friendly and super cheap!

Would also recommend the baths on Margaret island, the Nuclear museum, Farmers Market, and the park. There’s some lovely rooftop bars too, one right next to the castle which was amazing

I love Budapest. If you go, visit the Heroes Square- you can get there easily on a train.Hosök Tere. Also the market is worth seeing and you can get a cheap lunch there.

Budapest is amazing. I don’t find it cheap at all though!
