We love the Atlantis! You will have the best time. The only problem with it is that you won’t want to leave and Dubai has plenty to see and do off palm island!
Ask for a room in the East Wing, the West wing gets a lot of foot traffic as that’s where the lost chamber’s aquarium, shops and entrance to the water park is located. East wing is quieter and closer to Saffron (the largest buffet restaurant).
You can have breakfast in the Imperial Club lounge but the spread will not be anywhere as extensive as at Saffron. Don’t miss Saffron.
Have lunch or Dinner at Ayamna and Bread Street Kitchen at least once with your half board package. If you can, I would also highly recommend paying the supplement for dinner at Ossiano, it’s amazing.
You will access to Aquaventure, go early in the morning and knock out most of the big rides before it gets too busy. Take the land trolley there and back to save your feet in the heat. Take your own water shoes, they give you free water socks but they’re not very robust and rip easily.
The lost chamber aquarium is cute, be aware that they will try and push you to take a picture at the entrance every visit. The pics are extortionate to buy.
Try one of the marine experiences if you can, we did the Aquatrek extreme last year and it was tons of fun. Kids and DH did dolphin encounter in 2019 and loved it.
You will get free ice lollies when laying around the pool and someone even comes and polishes your sunglasses for you.
You can ask them to empty the fridge in your room and fill it with bottled water. You can also ask for more as much as you can carry of their free toiletries, they will give you loads.
They give you a handy woven beach bag in your room, it’s yours to keep.
Take time to walk around the Avenue, loads of shops including Bath and Bodyworks and Tiffany’s. Also don’t miss the Wavehouse, my kids would spend all day there or at the water park if I allowed it.
Visit the Point in the evening for the fountain show. It’s about 10 mins drive in the taxi and I think it’s better than the show at Burj Khalifa.
Finally, have the most fantastic time. Just be aware that it can become a bit of addiction and you will want to go back. We’re back there in August and I am counting down the days.🙂
