If you wanted to go away with your best friend (two females, age 26) for Christmas, with a budget of about £1000pp for hotel and flights - where would you go? We wanted to do something "Big" like Vegas etc but it's out of budget really. We like warmer places with lots of things to do, theme parks water parks etc and resort hotels.

So tell me, where should we go?

Thank you :-)

Hi. What are you looking for in terms of accommodation? Apartment, half board or all-inclusive?
Christmas is often more expensive than the summer holidays, unfortunately. We are looking at the moment and budgeting about 2k each for 11 nights.

Long haul may may well be out of your budget, I think, but you could look at Egypt, Cape Verde, or Canary Islands. Temp will range from early to mid 20's.
Even places like Turkey, or Tunisia will be much cooler at Christmas.

If you want lots of things to do then I would rule out Cape Verde. I would look at the Canary Islands. By the way the best time to visit Las Vegas is April, it can be very cold there at Christmas time.

Morocco - you can't guarantee amazing weather but it is much warmer than here and feels properly 'foreign' so like a real break. Marrakech is wonderful.
