Travelling to Dubai with a 6 month old

I’m looking at travelling to Dubai next month for a week with my 6 month old for my partners birthday. I have a few questions. Firstly, in regards to bottle feeding, how do I go about sterilising the bottles, and what do I do about making up the bottles? Secondly, what are absolute essentials I will need for my little boy for a 7 hour flight/hot beach holiday.

Thank you in advance x

I’d take this sterilising unit and Milton’s tablets.
Make up the bottles with bottled water. Steer clear of bottled water with a high mineral content, and try to use still water that’s low in sodium - one that contains 200mg or less of Na per litre. Check the levels of sulphate (SO or SO4), too. The sulphate levels should be no higher than 250mg per litre.
If you are out and about for the day, take a flask of just-boiled water and some small sterilised containers, each holding the required amount of formula powder to make each feed.
If you need a bottle heating when you are out, don’t be afraid to ask at a cafe or bar for some hot water. Most places are happy to help and most people love to see a baby being fed!
I’d always take this portable blackout blind, a night light, and (if you’ve got room) a small UV pop up beach tent.

To make up the bottles, you can buy ready made versions of most formula and although they are expensive I've found them really convenient for travel. You can't take them through airport security but in lots of airports you can arrange ahead with say Boots in the duty free to pick them up as you go through.
