Turkey yacht itinerary

We are hiring a catamaran/ gulet with skipper for 7 nights on the Turkish coast. My question is which bit of the coast shall we choose (never been to Turkey before). We like clear water for swimming/ snorkelling, sandy beaches, charming towns, good food and ideally some ruins to go and see or a few nice hikes. Don't want party resorts or places that will be absolutely heaving (though I know no avoiding crowds as we are going 8-15 July). thanks!

Fethiye to Kalkan/ Kas.
Fethiye has the Blue Lagoon and you could go on a day hike on the Lycian Way.
Kas gets an older crowd and has good bars and restaurants. There's a dive site nearby at Kekova.
You could fly in and out of Dalaman airport.

This sounds like a dream holiday for me. Is it really expensive to hire a gulet? Would love to do something similar.

Which company are you using?

Fethiye to Demre. Sunken city at Kekova is beautiful, ruins at Demre, ruins everywhere actually! You'd pass Patara - amazing sandy beach with a lot of archaeological restoration going on, Kas is what used to be called Antiphellos by the ancient Greeks - pretty town with some Lycian tombs within, Kalkan also a pretty town with good restaurants and beach clubs. Lots to see, beautiful waters.

I’d also love to know how much this costs. I’m imagining much cheaper in Turkey than Greece or Croatia but I could be wrong.

The gocek to kas stretch of coast is beautiful. Other option would be the datca area. Selimye is quiet and unspoiled.

Thanks all - looks like its Fethiye to Kalkan then! any recommendations for companies also welcome im jus googling. Seem slightly cheaper than Greek islands but not massively so...
