Recommend a suitcase suitable for 10kg luggage

We haven’t flown for a decade and all our luggage bar one giant case and 1 small cabin bag are knackered (we usually drive in Europe).

This summer we are flying with Ryanair and have the 10kg allowance per person (and one 20kg-will use the giant case for that). Can you recommend a case for 10kg limit? I can’t conceptualise what that looks like. It’s for the hold so dimensions don’t matter specifically.

And obviously it would be visualise not conceptaulise. I can’t visualise what 10kg looks like. It’s been a long week….🙈

If you get one which is the Ryanair hand baggage size they are around 10kg when full. Also useful if you don't want to put them in the hold it is 55x40x20cm.

As a family we have one each and only take them on holiday, don't bother with hold luggage at all. We have one from Lidl and the rest are it luggage. We have both hard and soft, you can fit more in the soft ones in terms of space and weight.

We use the cabinmax backpacks approx £30 from Amazon. Whilst i also have a wheelie case, my backpack provides more space and is more flexible.

Last flight I took everyone had wheelie cases and there was no space in the overhead lockers, I can fit my backpack under the seat in front of me. Whilst I saw others being separated from their cases

The problem with a wheelie case and a 10kg limit is that you'll use 2kg from the weight of the case itself. If you Google cabin bags Ryan Air there are lots of recommendations for luggage

Could I ask which It luggage you have please? Due to fly with Ryanair (priority with 10kg cabin bag). I need a new cabin bag but I've been put off with the size of the It bags being slightly over the max dimension on width.

A standard medium sized case (not the cabin or largest size) weighs more like 15kg when packed with the usual stuff.

A standard cabin case is likely to be around 10kg.

About 2kg is the case. So try and buy the lightest possible or take soft bags.

10kg isn't a lot.

I don't know to be honest, bought one hard case on Amazon and two soft ones in a closing down Laura Ashley.
