Has anyone been to Paris recently, we are going at Easter and didn't realise we need to book to go up the effiel tower months ago! Is it possible to get tickets on the day, with an expected queue?

Just updating.. we went.. i ended up panic booking online (en route on the eurostar!) some steps only tickets (which only take you to the 2nd floor) and we went straight there on Arrival - areiving at 11.30.
So glad I booked those tickets as the verytop was closed anyway, and no tickets would have definitely meant a massive queue whereas we barely had to queue at all, and also the steps were totally doable ans felt mucb more fun. It was a total success!
The Louvre however I would definitely skip in future.
Again, we had tickets, and barely had to queue, but the queue with no tickets was 2 hours long and once inside it was total chaos, SOOOO busy and just really unpleasant to be honest!

Thanks to all for all the tips! Defo going to do Montparnasse next time for a change
