me and a friend are going for 3 days. we want to have a clubbing night and want the hotel to be fairly close, but not on top of the clubs (we actually want some sleep!)

the location maps on the websites are not that good and only show the hotals and main streets so dont really know where the clubs are.

or would we be better staying in san antonio bay and getting taxis?

i have been to ibiza before about 8 years ago, stayed in the bay and travelled to san antonio by ferry boat or taxi and it was fine then, but i am older now and much more value my free time.

the only reason i was thinking of san antonio was cause of getting my bearings and knowing where to go.

is the old town safe for 2 ladies do yuo think? is it easy to get about?

thank you for all the advice, is there a hotel in ibiza town you could reccomend? as long as it is clean we arent too bothered about the board basis.

we dont really want the 'big' clubs. just a good night out. i went to clockwork orange (i think) and it cost £30 to get in 8 years ago!!!

i do remember walking all the way back to the hotel in the bay at 6 in the morning, all the way on the beach as we didnt want to look like dirty stop outs to the locals and thought we would be less likey seen on the beach!!

god we was naieve

we have dicided to stay in the old town but now having trouble getting the flights we want and the hotels we like as our budget is about £300 each, and we are trying to get it off the iternet rather than going to a travel agent.

are you still a dj then? do you take your kids with you? how do you manage?

sounds like an ace job

right, sorry to keep on about this but here goes!!

have you ever heard of these hotels? if so are they in good locations? close to beach and nightlife?

el puerto
montesol
hostel residencia molins park hotel( sounds dodgy)
ibiza gran hotel
royal plaza

the last 2 are out of our price range but if they are in the best place for us, i can lend her the money and she can pay me back
