Special holiday for a 30th

Please give me your recommendations. My partner and I turn 30 this summer and we would like to go somewhere special.
We have both been to various countries in Europe so we would like something a bit further afield. We love sightseeing and beautiful beaches as well as experiencing new cultures and food.

Where would you recommend?

In my opinion it doesn't get any more special than the Maldives! You won't be doing much sight seeing but if you book a good resort your holiday will be filled with sunset cruises, swimming with whale sharks, snorkeling etc. I thought I would be bored but could have easily stayed a month

Thailand is amazing!

If you want to do it in Summer you need to take different seasons into account.

Lots of Asia will have rain season. Better do it in late autumn or early Spring (Jant to March).Some parts of Africa will work if you look into safaris but then again, the further south you go, it will be winter.

If you can stretch into autumn you could think of Australia/New Zealand coming into Spring. Or USA/Canada for fall colours if you go in October.

India would be my choice. I loved it so, so much and could have stayed for months.

Or a road trip in California! Big Sur, the Napa Valley ...

Or Cape Town and the wine lands is an incredible trip.
