Passport question - my passport has expired - do I have a passport?

I'm applying for a passport renewal for myself as mine has expired and a couple of first time passports for my children.

There is a question on my child's application in the about the parents' section - do you (mother) have a passport - provide details. Do I say no or give them my expired passport details? Thanks for any help!!

I’m no expert, bit would answer “yes”
on the basis that you are on their system, your details will already be on their database, and you aren’t making your first application.

Ring and ask them as there is no logic!
DSD had an expired passport that her mother had thrown away. Instead of applying for a new passport we had to report the old one as lost and have a number for it that was rung through to us then just apply for a renewal.
I don't think anyone on here can give you how they would treat it.
