Ryanair luggage pooling

Does anyone know anything about pooling luggage on a Ryanair flight? We have a booking for 80kg of luggage spread over 7 bags, could I turn up with 80kg of luggage spread over 4 bags instead? The only info on the website I can find is about pooling your total weight between your total number of bags, I'm not sure if having less bags will cause an issue! TIA

No, you pay for specific sized cases, of all the airlines they are the most fussy over everything, though ultimately the decision is with the handling agent at the airport, too often I've read how one end oversized luggage was allowed but on the return stopped

Thanks for responding! I was worried that would be the case. I know they're strict on hand luggage size but I wasn't sure about checked hold luggage. It's crazy, it doesn't make any difference how many bags the same amount of weight is split in to when it's in the hold. Thank you

It does to the people who have to lift them!
