Hi just wondering what anyone thinks of taking a 19 month old in June away on holiday with a 06.30 flight time, meaning 04.30 check-in and awake at around 03.15. It makes me nervous thinking about it but it is a short flight time and it is to Menorca where we were last year and we wanted to meet up with family we met there but this is a v early flight and I don't want to mess her little body clock about too much. I'm sure she wouldn't sleep on the plane and by the time we get there it will be about 7.30 so probably a late bedtime also. Any ideas on how to do it with not too much hassle.

If she's up at 3.15am then i am sure she will nod off on the plane and then hopefully not be too out of her routine.

We have done flights like these with young kids and they always fall asleep on the plane! Go for it and have a fab holiday

We once took our 2 DS to Majorca. They were 11 months and 2.5yrs.

The only part of the journey that was a bit hard going was the coach transfer from airport to Alcudia - Alcudia is one heck of a way from the airport, especially with all the drop offs!

Think it would be worth saving a few euros and jumping in a taxi when you get there.

We also took a massive medicine chest!!! We didnt use any of it!!

GO FOR IT - Holidays are so special x
