Hi Debris

If the weather holds, take warm clothes and you can while away a fair bit of time on the sea front. Other than that, check this site. Should give you loads of ideas. I use it very regularly at home or when travelling and it rarely fails me...

Have fun!

Hello - very quick one but just to say that the museums and libraries all do great children's activities throughout the day; st ann's well park is good for an hour - has 2 play areas, one for smaller ones, one for older ones (5yrs) with a lovely cafe; there is also a great park on the seafront; and a little railway between the pier and the peter pan playground.

you should check out the netmums website as that will tell you everything that's on - food wise, wagamama, carluccios, pizza express, tootsies, strada are all very child friendly - to be honest I moved here cause I was amazed at just how child friendly it was - have fun!
