Is this a scam?

I have always used Skyscanner and on line travel agents to book multi stop flights as cheaply as possible.
I booked 4x long haul flights on 5 Feb for £650 each through Go To The Gate and they were cancelled with no explanation on Monday. I called and was told there is a £52 admin fee and my money will be returned at some point but not until they get a refund from the airline, and they have no time frame whatsoever.
Today when I have looked to rebook the flights are still on sale through these companies.
Is this a scam?

There are Facebook pages dedicated to GotoGate issues. Doesnt look like they are a very reputable company.

How did you pay? Can you do a chargeback?

I have started a section 75 and feel confident I will get my money back but it seems very scammy. I used G2TG a lot for previous journeys but I should have rechecked.

They have an appalling reputation on Trustpilot as well.

You're better off booking with the airline direct rather than using any third party agents because if things go south you are on your own. I hope you get your money back via a section 75 claim.
