Adult only hotel? Balearics / Jet2

I've negotiated a weekend away BY MYSELF in May to get a break from the drudgery of parenting two small children.

I'm looking at Jet2 holidays from Newcastle, 3 nights in May.

Has anyone tried an adult only hotel before? Is it worth it or a bit weird? I am worrying that if I go somewhere with loads of kids I'll just feel guilty that I don't have mine with me.

I'm looking at the Valentin Star in Cala n'Bosch in Menorca, and the Monsuau hotel in Cala D'or in Majorca, though I think the latter is a long transfer and only going 3 days I don't want to spend ages travelling. Anyone been to these or can recommend another place?

I will probably do half board as I don't feel like I'll want to go out hunting for food every night, prefer to relax in the hotel. Equally don't need bars or nightlife.

Thanks

CalaN Bosch is very much a family resort and was perfect when we had toddlers.
Cala D'Or is lovely.
However I don't know those hotels. We recently stayed in an Iberostar hotel that had a whole adults only section. What bliss not having children around the pool and no sticky fingers at the buffet.

There's also one in Cala Galdana Menorca which is fab.

Adult only could be a good shout.
I've done several holidays as a sole traveller and as long as the place isn't thronging with children it should be fine too. (If it's in term time, all the better!)

Thanks I found this one (jet 2 hadn't specifically marked it as adults only, so I hadn't seen it before) and have booked.

So excited, looks great and a short transfer too!

The no sticky fingers at the buffet DEFINITELY appeals

I went to an amazing adults only in Chania last year, short transfer by taxi and at the hotel in half an hour. Jet2 go there as well.

I also thought adults only might be, hmmm, sleazy. Had a week in an AO hotel in Egypt in January and it was GLORIOUS. No noise, no fast-moving kids under foot, no parents yelling at kids. Bliss.

Look at Hotel Pollentia, Puerto Pollensa in Majorca. The Uyal isn’t t adults only but doesn’t have many children staying in it usually.

Audax in Cala Galdana is amazing, I went there with my husband before we had a baby and my DB and SIL went on our recommendation also. Would love to have a child free stay there again one day! Have fun x
