Booking.com flight & hotel - can you choose plane seats ?

I am half way through booking , but it doesn’t give me an option to preselect my plane seats - does anyone know if you can do this ?

Yes. You’ll get an email from the airline with a booking number so you can sign into their web site and choose your seats!

Are you sure they’ll let you do it direct with the airline?
Which have just covered this issue. They don’t mention booking.com, but several other OTAs do it for you and overcharge for the privilege.
Worth double checking with booking.com before going ahead.
(We flew with easyJet via a small OTA a few years ago and organising seats and bags was awkward, inflexible and expensive)

I always book my flights directly with the airline .

if there is a problem you speak with them not the third party.

Definitely hotels with booking. (Often cheaper even than direct) Flights with flight company.
Just not worth the hassle if something goes wrong.

🤷‍♀️I’m literally just off a flight I booked with booking.com that j managed through United Airlines. That’s always how I’ve done it and that’s how it’s always worked for me.
