Looking at going somewhere in Europe next summer. I have four kids - well two are 18 &16 ( want to come away with us) and 13&9.

Would love to be very near the beach, or pool near by. Like being busy, having places to go and visit, things to do. Haven't been abroad for quite a few years, but would like to be as economical as we can if possible, not all self catering, so any suggestions of vegan friendly places would be fantastic.

I am a bit of a nervous flyer ( I am trying to get over this) so not to far would be great to🫣

Thanks so much for any help

I'm going to say Sicily again. We stayed in gorgeous 3 bedroomed apartments in Taormina and Ortigia. We stayed on the Corsa Umberto in Taormina but you can also stay by the beach.

If you download the Happy Cow app you can find plenty of restaurants with vegan options.

If you decide to go there are a few really nice places to eat that I could recommend.

La Siesta Salou has 3 bedroom bungalows and a range of dining options from self catering to full board. I’m a vegetarian and I had a good choice of things to eat actually onsite, but there are also a number of nice restaurants in Salou itself, such as Sama Sama Veggie and a Thai restaurant whose name I can’t remember right now.
The campsite is quite close to PortVentura, which we went to twice as there’s too much to do in just one day!

Thank you so much for the ideas, I will look those up. 🙂

What about Lake Garda? Milan is a very short and cheap flight and it is then easy to train it over to Garda.

If you could put up with about 4 hours flying that opens you up to so many amazing Greek islands and mainland destinations that suit all ages.

I have been looking at Greece as I've always wanted to go there and haven't yet 🙂
