Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. So we are looking for a holiday in either mainland Greece or one of the islands suitable for young children. Ideally we would like an all inclusive resort but maybe with a private pool (if not ridiculously expensive) and would love it if it was near to a beach but also within travelling distance of some good sights, particularly historical as my son would love that. Any help as to where to go would be hugely appreciated as I'm getting so bogged down with looking!

Ikos Dassia in corfu was amazing - all inclusive and has suites with private pools

@Adventurisoutthere thanks so much! Will have a good look. Would you say there were some things nearby that would be good for a look around? And does it have a little kids disco? (My littlest one loves to dance). I know I'm being exceptionally picky 🙈

Yes you get complimentary passes from the hotel for the local museums and there is also a fort to go and see.

Every evening there was a children’s musical show/performance that encouraged them to all join in and dance. Followed by a family friendly adult musical performance too. There was a beach party one evening that all the kids loved dancing at too (I think it was called the white party and everyone wore white).

pretty much everything you have mentioned this place did and more - kids loved it. The food really stood out to us as we are usually wary of all inclusive places because of the average food but it was exceptional. One of the restaurants had a Michelin star

Oh we were in Dassia last April and going again this April. Which restaurant has a star ? I didn't realise - thought the menus were just designed by chefs who held them .
